THOUGHTS OF A BELIEVER

Assalamualaikum to all,

I was reading through this article in Facebook yesterday and i just thought to share it with you guys~ It is about Jannah! exciting right! But some of us tend to think what is so special in getting into Jannah..What is Jannah?

When Mu’min enters into Jannah, it will be announced:-

You will remain healthy forever, disease will never come.
…You will remain alive for ever, death will never come.
You will remain in bounties which will never be finished.
Jannat is made with bricks of gold and silver, Its cement is of perfumed musk. Its chips are pearls and Yaqoot.Its sand is Zafraan.

There are eight doors of Jannah. these are eight grades of Jannat :

i) Jannatul Mava
ii) Darul Maqaam
iii) Darul Salaam
iv) Darul Khuld
v) Jannat-ul-Adan
vi) Jannat-ul-Naeem
vii) Jannat-ul-Kasif
viii) Jannat-ul-Firdous


Food of Jannah

They will eat foods and fruits continuously up to 40 years. Every bowl will have a new taste. They will take eructation which will digest the food and there will be perfumed sweating for the digestion of water. There will be no urine and stool.


Garden of Jannat

There will be gardens in Jannah. Every garden will have the length of about 100 years journey. The shadow of these gardens will be very dense.

Their plants will be free of thorns. The size of their leaves will be equal to ears of elephants. Their fruits will be hanging in rows.

Jannatul Mava is in the lowest, Jannat-ul-Adan is the middle and Jannat-ul- Firdous is on the highest. Those who-love each other for the sake of Allah, will get a pillar of Yaqoot, on which there will be seventy thousand (70,000) rooms. These will shine for the residents of Jannah as the sun shines for the residents of Duniya.

There will be rooms in Jannah in such a way that every room will have seventy thousands (70,000) dinning sheets. On every dinning sheet 70,000 types of foods will be served.

For their service 80,000 young boys will be moving around looking like beautiful scattered pearls.
One bunch of dates will be equal to the length of 12 arms. The size of a date will be equal to the big pitcher. These will be whiter than milk, sweater than honey and softer than butter and free from seeds. The stem of these plants will be made up of gold and silver.

There will also be gardens of grapes. The bunches of grapes will be very big. The size of a single grape will be equal to a big pitcher (pot). Someone asked, Ya Rasulullah Sallalahu alaihi wasallam: will it be sufficient for me and my family. It was answered, it will be sufficient for you and your whole tribe.


The Dresses of Jannat

The dress of Jannah will be very beautiful. One will wear 70 dresses at a time.

These will be very fine, delicate, weightless, having different colors.

These dresses will be so fine that the body even the heart will be visible. And the waves of love in the hearts will also be visible. These dresses will never become old, never be dirty and will never tear.

There will be four canals in every Jannah. They are of water, milk, honey and Sharabun Tahoora. There will also be three fountains in Jannah. (i) Kafoor. (ii) Zanjabeel. (iii) Tasneem


Qualities of People of Jannah

In Jannah, height of every Mo’min, will be equal to the height of Hazrat Adam Alaihissalaam = 60 arms (90 feet).

Beauty will be like that of Hazrat Yousuf Alaihissalaam

Age of youth will be like that of Hazrat Esa Alaihissalaam (30-33 years).

Sweetness of voice will be like that of Hazrat Dawud Alaihissalaam.

Tolerance will be like that of Hazrat Yaqoob Alaihissalaam

Patience will be like that of Hazrat Ayyub Alaihissalaam.

Habits will be like that of Sayyadina Muhammad Sallalahu alaihi wasallam.

If a person makes Du’a for Jannah three times, Jannah requests Allah that O, Allah; make his entry into Jannah. And if a person makes Du’a for safety from Jahannum three times, the Jahannnum requests Allah that, O, Allah; save him from Jahannum.

Lovely right? The best part is that its way way better than whatever we get in this dunya...so what are you waiting for? its not easy to get there and you know as a Muslim what is needed :D let us all set our goal there and achieve it.

I came across this post in a tumblr page that i follow (http://nubami.tumblr.com/post/1642744536) and it caught my attention. MashaAllah, its written so beautifully and then I started to realize how much Allah S.W.T loves us. Here it goes…

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.

Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

1. God uses problems to DIRECT you.
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? “Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways.”

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you.
People are like tea bags…if you want to know what’s inside them, just drop them into hot ever water! Has God tested your faith with a problem What do problems reveal about
you? “When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.”

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you.
Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It’s likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove…. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something… health, money, a relationship. .. by losing it. “It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws.”

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you.
A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management’s actions were eventually discovered. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you.
Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you’re going to take with you into eternity. “We can rejoice when we run into problems…they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of characer in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.”

MashaAllah, it’s so beautiful rite. Knowing how much Allah S.W.T loves us and wants us to be better is so lovely. After reading it, i knew that my intention on doing everything in my life is for Allah S.W.T  :D

InshaAllah after reading this, i hope my brothers and sisters will be ever ready to accept the test. Remember, our goal…Jannatul Firdouse

The quote above is so true rite?! but what we Muslim women ought to follow like is the physical shyness. Physical shyness which practically means, what we see in the outside. yes she lowers her gaze but not by her action in front of a man, she rarely talks to men but when she do, she talks in a way that could melt a man. Shyness in Islam is not only about the physical aspect of a behavior in front of the others but also what is inside our heart and how do we act according to it.

To me, shyness of a man or women is to Allah S.W.T. It is the shame of being an ungrateful slave when we don’t follow what He has underlined to us, what is in the Quran and Sunnah. It is the feeling of shy towards Allah S.W.T that we have done something against what He underlined for us in the Holy Quran. I remember a sister that i knew not long ago, she said that whenever she is about to do something, whether it is good and especially when she knows it’s bad, she would ask herself if she had the answer before Allah S.W.T in the hereafter. That was really a good piece of advice heh! try it guys :D

And sisters, remember, shyness in front of Allah S.W.T makes you the best women in front of mankind. Owh and it applies to you brothers too! :D

 “You should seek sincere brothers, for they are an adornment at times of ease and a support at times of calamity.”

 I bet you would have already guessed what this post is about!


Ukhwah = Friendship


It is indeed a lovely feeling right, having another person who would care and do anything for you through the thick and thin times, happy times, going crazy times :p and even the time when you need to reach out to your Rabb. Always there by you :D


The ukhwah that i had was MashaAllah lovely! from the sisters i knew from my usrah and my fellow muslim sisters around me and even some of the brothers. They had helped me a lot along the process of being a better Muslim alhamdulillah :D and being steadfast in this deen! they were always there for me, guiding me without judging what kind of person i am and even my past (well they knew me even before being a Muslim) 


Love them all so much and dearly because of Allah SWT :)


Walking in into my second year of being a Muslim, Alhamdulillah i really understood what ukhwah is :) and choosing a friend..i must say, im preety bad in choosing a friend because i am a friendly person and everything goes with me :) 


Recently i came across a quote and it came with an incident in my life too! the quote goes like this: 

"The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the seller of musk, and the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows.. So as for the seller of musk then either he will grant you some, or you buy some from him, or at least you enjoy a pleasant smell from him. As for the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows then either he will burn your clothes or you will get an offensive smell from him.”

Even my father told me once that our companion, be it friends or spouse reflect who we are! but does this mean you should not befriend anyone? Well in my opinion, friends are those who lead you into doing good stuffs, the right thing to do and not to lure you into things that you should not do are those you keep close! 


So, in this case, we befriend everyone, but those who really brings us towards Allah SWT are those who we keep close. Also in this case, we should not look down upon those without a strong deen but help them too towards Allah SWT and make du'a for them. What if you are not strong enough to guide them?


i myself tried to help certain of my friends into the right path, bringing them back to the deen but unfortunately, i am not strong enough and i've decided to stay away and make du'a for them..alot and alot of du'a for them :D inshaAllah their hearts will open up :)
