In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Assalamualaikum to all,
It has been a long time since i wrote about my journey into Islam. Well, Alhamdulillah i have
time now to do so as i'm not really busy with my worldly affairs.
Maybe some of you might be wondering what i am up to these days other than updating my tumblr
most of the time. Alhamdulillah i have just recently started my Foundation in Islamic Studies
in one of the local institution for about a month and i still have 5 more months to go. It has
definitely been a great huge blessing Alhamdulillah for me and inshaAllah im planning to continue
my Diploma in Islamic Studies after that inshaAllah (do make du'a for me) and if i
get sponsored again it wil be great! :D
So the reaon that i'm writing this post is that i also got offered to study basic Quranic studies!
i just started last saturday actually and Alhamdulillah it comes with also the tajweed class.
Truly it has been a blessing but to actually make up a story to my parents on classes starting as
early as 8am will be something to really think about. Alhamdulillah so far they didnt suspect
anything yet or even showed any dislike on it but still i'm the kind of person with whole lots
of back up plan which eventually nothing is put to use! :p why u say? Well, Allah is the best
of planners! :D
Coming back to my Quran class story, we were never thought any shortcuts and because my Ustadh
is an Arab, we get the chance to learn a lil bit of Arab here and there :D fun fun! Alhamdulillah
i pick it up faster this time cause i have been going through classes before and the introduction
is preety simple. Even he corrected our tajweed for Surah Al-Fatihah and i realise that i have
alot of pronounciation mistake reciting it before this. InshaAllah now i'll try making my
recitation better! :D
Somehow i feel like going through all this classes is like a blessing and at the same time an
amanah for me. Also, walking into the month of Ramadhan with all these feels great Alhamdulillah!
So to those Muslims out there who thinks their recitation isn't so good i suggest you to go for tajweed classes :D
I remembered hearing quran recitation from one of my close friend and i asked him once how did he learn to recite so nicely and he said that he downloaded Quranic recitation from his favourite reciter and learned it through that...good idea heh! well, even my ustadh says so!
Brothers and sisters, lets brush up our recitation and move forward to Ramadhan inshaAllah! :D
